28 Engineering provides two distinct services. Primarily, we are a sales representation company. We provide a unique sales service to companies outside North America into the North American market. What makes 28 Engineering unique is the engineering knowledge and skills it can bring to bear to support companies outside North America. This greatly reduces the time communication loop that frequently occurs between companies in North America and companies far to either the east or west. We provide immediate information to customers in North America by either reducing or eliminating the time zone issue of sending out emails on one day and expecting a reply the next to being able to either call or email in the middle or the business day and receive responses in real time. Also, if a visit is required to customers within North America, travel time is greatly reduced since we are based in the greater Detroit area.
Our second service is multifaceted, and that is engineering consulting. These facets include: product design, audits of suppliers outside North America, APQP documentation assistance, and customer on-site trouble shooting. Our strength in engineering is focused on mechanical products, however, we have provided services for electromechanical products as well.
